Job Title: Snow Event Supervisor

Job Summary
We are looking for a highly organized Snow Operations Management position(s) open to manage plowing and walk labor operations at UPS World Port Airport. Ideal for contractors, self-employed or people working in roles that will not be working during snow and ice conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise snow removal operations during snow and ice events.
- Monitor weather forecasts and initiate mobilization of crews and equipment as needed.
- Communicate clearly with team members, contractors, and clients throughout the event.
- Conduct site checks to ensure quality standards and safety protocols are met.
- Take calls from call center and effectively adjust operations.
- Resolve any operational issues in real time, including equipment breakdowns, missed areas, or personnel issues.
- Maintain accurate logs of hours worked, materials used, and service completion times.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and operational regulations.
- Provide post-event reports, including feedback on crew performance and recommendations for improvement.
- Assist in training and onboarding seasonal snow personnel.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required; additional education in logistics, operations, or facilities management is a plus.
- 1+ years of supervisory or crew lead experience preferred.
- Knowledge of snow removal equipment, materials, and best practices a plus.
- Ability to make quick, informed decisions in high-pressure situations.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Must be available 24/7 during snow events, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Valid driver’s license
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions for extended periods.
- Ability to walk job sites and inspect work in snowy/icy conditions.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Compensation:
- Hourly wage
- Overtime during snow events
Schedule
- On-call and variable hours during the winter season (typically November through March)
- Must be able to respond to snow emergencies on short notice
